Please let me tell you a little bit about myself & how I have ended up selling my art and craft on ebay and also in my new on-line shop on Oztion.

My whole life I have loved anything to do with art, always in trouble for "doodling " on anything & everything. A few years ago a friend learnt a bit of folk art so started a little arty afternoon once a week to teach a few friends what she knew. We did a lot of talking, eating & cuppa's, but not a lot of painting. She had all these little wooden crafts around the home that she had bought as kits & painted up. From that came the brain wave to cut out my own rather than buy the kits. My husband bought me a scroll saw for our anniversary & away I went.

I made things for family & friends which progressed to selling at markets, then someone suggested I try selling my work on Ebay. Now here I must admit, I am totally computer illiterate, I had never even heard of Ebay! My husband looked into it all, a couple months later I made half a dozen items & tried them & now here I am. Still pretty much computer illiterate, my husband does all the computer side of things, except the letter writing to customers etc (I've learnt how to do that much). I do what I love most, making country craft, plus watercolour, pastel and acrylic paintings.

Also very exciting, I have just illustrated my first book! My mother-in-law is a writer & recently had her latest book published, which she asked me to illustrate. "Bruno, A Bull and His Island" is now available in book stores & tourist centres throughout northern Tasmania as well as in my shop on Oztion.

I hope you enjoy my paintings and craft as much as I enjoy doing them.
